Ben moved to Atlanta in 1996 with a background in theatrical lighting design, and spent a couple of years with another lighting company. In 1998, Ben began working as an independent lighting director, programmer, and project manager for a variety of companies in a broad array of settings. Ben is a founding member of Full Circle Lighting and Productions
When he has spare time, he spends it with his wife, Helena, and their dog, Natasha. Ben & Helena study medieval and renaissance dueling (yeah, with swords) in the Society for Creative Anachronism.
